Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is available in the Omics of Algae Group (GOA) and DBT-ICGEB Centre for Advanced Bioenergy Research, ICGEB, New Delhi.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

Name of the Project: “Multi-Omics in Microalgae (MOMICs): Tools and Pipelines
for Data Integration and Visualization”, funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI, New Delhi, India.

Tenure of Job: The position is available initially for one year with further extensions based
upon performance.

Minimum Educational Qualification, desirable experience and expected duties:

1. Applicants ought to hold a first-class M. Sc./ B. Tech./ M. Tech. in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or any other pertinent field.
2. Applicants with DBT-JRF (Cat-II)/ NET/GATE will certainly be given preference.

Applicants with prior research experience in genomics, proteomics/ computational biology will certainly be chosen.

Proven experience of high throughput data analysis, database/website development, Python/PERL/Linux, PHP/HTML and MySQL/Oracle.
