Applicants are welcomed to appear before the selection committee in the on-line interview on Wednesday, September 02, 2020, for filling up a purely temporary position in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” program, under the supervision of Dr Ashutosh Pandey, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:

Upper age limitation: 35 years.
How to Apply:
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is totally on a temporary basis with a max period of three years. The initial appointment will certainly be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based upon the performance of the applicant and also discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the
candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and also experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be according to Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated whenever by giving a month notification by either side. The applicants will certainly have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.Eligible candidates may make an application for the interview by sending out a soft copy of duly filled up the application form, with scanned copies of all the certificates and also mark sheets (from class X onwards) to the email [email protected]. The last date of receipt of application is August 25, 2020.
An invitation link with the date and also the time of on-line interview will also be emailed to the shortlisted applicant. Online interview will certainly be held on September 02, 2020. All applicants have to ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed.

Qualification: Applicants having an M. Sc./ M. Technology. degree (with a minimum of 60% marks overall) or equivalent in Biotechnology/Life Sciences or any other related field are eligible for interview. Candidate having prior experience in the area of Plant tissue culture and metabolomics will be preferred.
