Applications are invited from a suitable applicant for filling the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

One position of Junior Research Fellow against the SERB-IRHPA funded project entitled
” COVID-SCAN (Novel diagnostic platforms for point-of-care SARS-CoV-2 detection)”. PI: Dr. Sonu Gandhi, Scientist-D.

Fellowship amount: Rs. 31000/- PM +24% HRA = 38,440/- PM according to the DST standards.

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences with a NET qualification or Post Graduate degree in professional course. (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/ S9/Z09/2012 dated 21.10.2014 and also SR/S9/Z -08/ 2018 dated 30.01.2019). However Non NET candidates can also apply who will certainly be paid based on their eligibility. An applicant with experience in molecular biology and also Immunological techniques as well as an animal (mice, rabbit) handling is desirable. Candidates having prior experience in working with the development of diagnostic assays will be favoured.
