Research Associate: Applicant has to possess a PhD degree from a recognized
University/Institute in Ecology/Environmental Sciences/Botany/ Zoology/Forestry/Life
Science/Wildlife Science with a field of expertise on mapping, vegetation/animal inventory
and diversity assessment has published research work in peer-reviewed journals and also has shown evidence of independent research work. Preference will be given to those who have hands-on experience in plant taxonomy, sampling and field data collection in mountainous terrain, analysis and interpretation, processing satellite images and data integration in GIS.
Emoluments: Rs.47,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Junior Research Fellow: Applicant should have an MSc degree from a recognized
University/Institute in Ecology/Environmental Sciences/Botany/ Zoology/Forestry/Life
Science/Wildlife Science with 55% of Marks. Preference will be given to an applicant who
has basic knowledge on field data collection as well as analysis as well as has cleared UGC/CSIR NET or GATE in the relevant subject.
Emoluments: Rs.31,000/- per month for NET/GATE (Consolidated)
