Name of the Project: “Hydroxyurea treatment in sickle cell disease and differential response of HbF induction: the implications of pharmacogenomics”

Upper age limitation: Not greater than 28 years.

Tenure of Project: 03 Years

The Terms & Conditions for the posts are as follows:

1. The post is to be filled out only on a simply short-term basis as well as will certainly be renewed annually.
2. The project started on 26/09/2019. The duration of the project is for 3 years.
3. The appointment can be ended with a one-month notification from either side without
   assigning any reason.
4. Since the post is purely short-term, the incumbent selected will certainly have no claim for regular appointments under Sickle Cell Institute Chhattisgarh, Raipur/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
5. Benefits of provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not
   applicable.
6. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates based on C.G. State Govt. Rules. Age
   relaxation may be thought-about for deserving and also a highly qualified experienced person on the recommendation of the selection committee.
7. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and applicant
   should make his/her very own arrangement for stay for an interview as well as joining of the post.
8. Qualification as well as experience ought to be from a reputed organization.
9. The experience will certainly be counted only after the conclusion of minimum educational qualification.
10. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and also selection.
11. Qualification, Experience and age will certainly be considered as on the last date of application.

13. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/.

14. Consolidated salary of the post may be revised as per ICMR instructions.
15. M. Technology. and PhD degrees will be treated equivalent to two as well as three years experience respectively.
16. The chosen candidate will work in the project mentioned above as well as on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.

Emoluments: Consolidated pay of Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA (4960/-)/ monthly

(A) Candidate needs to have an M. Sc./ B. Tech. in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ equivalent life sciences or M.B.B.S.
(B) Preference will certainly be given to the candidate having: –
(1) Qualified ICMR-JRF/CSIR- JRF/NET.
(2) Experience in next-gen sequencing and data analysis.
