Vacancy: One Position
Project: “Understanding the role of Exocyst complex in cell division and development in Caenorhabditis elegans”
Duration: Until May 31, 2019. Extendable further subject to availability of funds and the expected extension of project duration, and on the performance of the candidate.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Pushpa Kumari, India Alliance/ DBT-Wellcome Early Career
Fellow in the lab of Dr. Sivaram Mylavarapu, Associate Professor.
Fellowship: Rs. 35,400/- per month consolidated. No other benefits admissible.
Essential Qualification: 1) Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/ related sciences or 2 ) BPharm/ BTech. Practical knowledge and experience of mammalian cell culture, molecular and cell biology and/or protein biochemical analysis is required.
Desirable Qualification: Practical understanding of handling Caenorhabditis elegans in the lab and/or experience with a high resolution confocal and/or fluorescence microscopy
. NET qualification is desired.How to Apply:
