Position : Project Assistant
Remuneration : ₹ 15,000 per month (fix)

Role and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of Principal Investigator the incumbent shall perform the following role and responsibilities in project entitled “Climate-Smart Agriculture: An Address of Food Security and Climate Change”
(i) Provide research assistance to Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator as and when required;
(ii) Conduct interdisciplinary research in view of aim and objectives of the Project;
(iii) Provide input to research project on latest research developments and emerging research trends in the field;
(iv) Familiar in computer fundamentals with wordprocessing and power-point presentation programs is highly preferred and prepare report on research work;
(v) Required a strong interest in and understanding of fundamental sciences, and participate and
present the research work in Conference/Symposium;(vi) Perform project related duties including administrative, coordination, etc. as required to
achieve the aim and objectives of the Project.
(vii) Provide strong fundamentals, good communication skills, and professional work ethics
Requirements: Educational Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
(i) M. Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or relevant area of Life Science or Agriculture
Sciences with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an
accredited foreign university;
(ii) Those awaiting M. Sc. Final result may also apply.
(iii) Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and
developments in Biological and Agriculture Sciences;
(iv) Fluency in English language and ability in writing scientific report;
Highly desirable:
(i) Experience in teaching/research in universities/colleges;
(ii) Presentation/Participation in State/National Level Conferences/Symposium;
(iii) Excellent inter-personal and team-building skills;
(iv) Ability to conduct research work is highly desirable.
