Job Title : Food Microbiologist

Experience : 0 – 4 Yrs

Location : Bangalore

Job description:

1. Performing microbiological analysis of food & water for various pathogens like Total Plate Count, Yeast & Mould Count, Coliforms, E.coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus etc as per various standard methods such as APHA, USFDA BAM, ISO etc.
2. Disinfection of lab, incubators & refrigerators.
3. Daily monitoring and recording of temperature of refrigerators, incubators & water baths.
4. Daily monitoring and recording of temperature and humidity of microbiology lab.
5. Daily verification of weighing balance & pH meter.
6. Independently verify results against accepted quality and performance criteria (i.e. QC control charts, reference materials, duplicates, etc.).
7. Interpret analytical data for integrity, accuracy and quality criteria.
8. Familiar with ISO 17025, NABL, BIS, AOAC, FSSAI, and other food regulatory requirements and guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• MSc- Microbiology graduates Preferred.
• 1-4 years experience in Food Microbial analysis. Freshers are also welcomed.
• Male Candidates preferred for rotational Shifts.
• Ready to work in flexi timings
• Having knowledge on NABL regulations will be mostly preferred.
• Positive attitude.
