Essential Qualifications : M.Sc./M.Tech/B.Tech in Life Sciences/Biotechnology from a reputed University
Desirable:
- Diploma in Intellectual Property (IP) Rights from a recognized law college/ institute
- Good understanding / experience of R&D and technical advancements in different areas of life sciences, particularly medical devices.
- Expertise in IP analytics such as prior art searches, Freedom to Operate studies, etc.
- Good understanding and experience of drafting/reviewing Agreements with third parties such as non-disclosure agreements, collaboration agreements, license agreements, assignments deeds etc.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience:
• Minimum one-two years of experience in IP analytics/ Technology-transfer
• Experience in Project Management including IP/Technology-transfer
Job description:
Responsibilities would include the following:
Responsibilities would include:
- Technical assignments: conducting patentability assessment, drafting/review of patent applications, drafting/reviewing Agreements such as Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), Confidentiality Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, License Agreements etc., evaluation of technologies for commercial potential, data compilation, writing project proposals and reports, project monitoring, etc.
- Administrative assignments: Coordination with clients for project management, IP assignments, maintaining IP and technology-transfer portfolio of clients, organization of IP workshops, etc.
- Any other related responsibilities
Salary : Rs. 20,000 – 35,000/- per month (consolidated, commensurate with qualifications
