Applications are invited from candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a research project titled “Use of bacteriophages to ameliorate the hygiene conditions of secondary treated waste water’ funded by Department of Science and Technology – WTI, Government of India. “
Position available : 01 JRF
Essential qualifications : M.Sc in Microbiology with a valid NET /GATE score
Desirable qualifications : Experience in handling bacteriophage, molecular biology and water quality testing
Stipend : As per DST norms
Terms and Conditions:
- The position is coterminous with the project and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance, and for a maximum of three years.
- Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program provided they satisfy the institute’s eligibility criterion for PhD program.
- Original documents and one attested copy must be presented at the time of interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted to appear for an interview scheduled in the 3rd week of April 2017.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
