Job Title – Junior Research Fellow

Project Title – “Generation of transgene free human induced pluripotent stem cells using non-genetic approaches for cell therapeutic applications ”
Principal Investigator – Dr. Nibedita Lenka, Scientist F
Tenure – Three Years.
Age – 28 years.
Fellowship – Rs. 25,000+ 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- + 30% HRA for 3rd year.
Qualifications –
Essential – M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET
Desirable – Experience in cell and tissue culture, preferable mammalian cell and well versed with various molecular biology tools and techniques. Good written and oral communication skills. Candidates with prior experience with working on mammalian stem cells and animal handling wil be preferred.
Position II
Job Title – Junior Research Fellow

Project Title – “Role of Nup 358 in the regulation of cytoplasmic mRNP granules”
Principal Investigator – Dr. Jomon Joseph, Scientist E
Tenure – Two Years.
Age – 28 years.
Fellowship – Rs. 25,000+ 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year.
Qualifications –
Essential – M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET
Desirable – Preference will be given to applicants with experience in mammalian cell culture/ molecular biology and/or cell biology techniques.
Position III
Job Title – Junior Research Fellow

Project Title – “Role of gamma delta T cells in the generation and maintenance of transplantation tolerance”
Principal Investigator – Dr. Giridhari Lal, Scientist E
Tenure – Two Years.
Age – 28 years.
Fellowship – Rs. 25,000+ 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- + 30% HRA for 3rd year
Qualifications –
Essential – M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET
Desirable – Experience in immunological assays, flow cytometry, handling rodents, cell culture techniques and knowledge of scientific image analysis software.
Position IV
Job Title – Junior Research Fellow

Project Title – “Cis-acting pair of novel non-coding RNAs-Ginir and Giniras in Cell growth and regulation and transformation of human and mouse cells ”
Principal Investigator – Dr. Anjali Shiras, Scientist F
Tenure – One year and six months
Age – 28 years.
Fellowship – Rs. 25,000+ 20% HRA for 1st and 2nd year.
Qualifications –
Essential – M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET
Desirable – Experience in cell and molecular biology and in the area of RNA biology will be preferred.
Position V
Job Title – Project Assistant

Project Title – “Small non-coding RNA mediated defence and counter defence in the antiviral immune system of silkworm”
Principal Investigator – Dr. Jyoti Singh,
Tenure – Ten months
Age – 28 years.
Fellowship – Rs. 18,200/-
Qualifications –
Essential – M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET
Desirable – Minimum 6 months experience in molecular biology techniques.
