KUFOS hiring for a JRF position in DST-SERB project:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Research Fellow to join the DST-SERB funded project to study the molecular mechanisms of fish lectins in innate immune defense. A keen interest in gene regulation, standard biochemical and molecular biology and cell culture techniques, and animal model research are essential. S/he will have an excellent scientific track record, committed to a scientific career and will be keen to work in an interdisciplinary team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and scientific creativity are essential.
Title of the Project: “Characterization of Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms involved in Fish Lectins and its Potential Role in Innate Immune Defense and Therapeutics”.
Name of the position available : Junior Research Fellow (One)
Duration of the Project : Three Years
Fellowship : Rs.25,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA (as per DST-SERB norms)
Required Qualification : M.Sc in Life Science or related fields with first class. Candidates
with NET/ CSIR/ UGC/ICMR etc. will be given preference.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates should have practical research experience (two years
after M.Sc.) in molecular cell biology techniques and cell culture.
Age Limit :Not more than 28
years as on the date of notification.The date of interview will be intimated to the selected candidates by e-mail. No separate letters will be sent. No TA/ DA will be given for attending the interview.
