Applications are invited in prescribed format by Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB) for engagement of contractual position as indicated below for the period of one year. The details of the post, educational qualification & selection criteria are available below :
Job Title : Project Assistant – II
Gross Monthly Remuneration in ₹ : ₹ 21,108/-
Qualification / Essentials :
Essentials:
1. B.Sc. (Botany, Zoology or Ecology &Environment).
2. Field expertise in Biodiversity/Wildlife research.
3. 2 years of experience in field work.
4. Proficiency in Local Language (Konkani)
Desirable:
1. Expertise in Botany / Ecology / Environment / Agriculture Biodiversity.
2. Outstanding achievements in the field of
Biodiversity.
3. Experience in scientific organization.
4. Computer literacy.
5. Knowledge of Marathi

Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed application form to the office of the Member Secretary, Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB), C/o Dept. of Science, Technology and Environment, Opp. Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez- Goa on or before 25/11/2016 up to 05:30 pm, along with self-attested documents of their Birth certificate, valid
Residence certificate, valid Employment registration card, Educational qualifications, Additional qualification certificates, experience certificates / testimonials (if any), and one latest passport size photograph, age limit as per Government of Goa norms. Prescribed application form may be downloaded below :Incomplete Applications and Applications received after due date 25/11/2016 up to 05:30 pm at office of GSBB will be summarily rejected without intimation to the candidate. Decision of the selection panel shall be final and binding. Canvassing in any way will lead to cancellation of candidature. The selected candidate shall be required to join immediately. Results shall be uploaded on the GSBB website.
The said contractual position are initially for a period of 1 year only, which may be extended if felt appropriate by the board for further period of 01 year. The employment will not confer any right explicitly or implicitly for regular appointment or absorption in GSBB.
