WALK IN INTERVIEW

It is proposed to fill up a temporary position of one Project Assistant under the Telangana State Biodiversity Board funded Project on “Agri-biodiversity of Telangana: Inventorization and documentation for posterity and sustainable management of crop genetic resources” through a Walk-In-Interview. Accordingly, eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling the requirements may appear before the Selection Committee for a personal Interview at NBPGR Regional Station, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030, Telangana (Opposite Telephone Exchange/ GHMC Office) as indicated below.

Post : Project Assistant

Period : 1st October, 2016 to 30th September, 2017 coterminous with the Project period

Location of Project work : NBPGR Reg.Station, Hyderabad

Emoluments : Rs.16,000/ Month

Qualifications

Essential : Master’s Degree in Botany/ Agriculture/ Agril.Botany/ Plant Genetic Resources/ Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Plant Physiology/ Agronomy/ Horticulture etc..

Desirable : Computer knowledge and data entry experience in creating and maintenance of Crop Genetic Resources Databases

NOTE

• Upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women. Age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per Government of India/ ICAR norms.
• No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
• Candidates should bring along their Bio-data, a passport size photograph, original mark sheets, certificates and other testimonials for verification and submit attested copies of the same along with the Bio-data.
