Eligibility:
- A Ph. D. degree with first class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’ Degree in Food Technology & Biochemical Engineering / Food Technology / Biochemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 8 (eight) years experience of teaching or research at the level of Assistant Professor or Lecturer or equivalent grade excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree.
For Candidates from Industry and Profession :
Basic degree in Food Technology and Biochemical Engineering.
Desirable Qualification :
- Published work such as research paper, patents filed / obtained books and / or technical reports.
- Experience of guiding Post Graduate / Research students or supervising R & D Projects in Industry.
Salary: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Academic Grade pay of Rs. 6000 or higher
Position 2
Job Title: Assistant Professor (Food Technology & Biochemical Engineering)
No of Posts: Two
Eligibility:
Master’s degree with first class or equivalent at B.E. or M.E. in Food Technology & Biochemical Engineering of Engineering (Engg.) and Technology (Tech.).
Desirable Qualification :
- PhD. with publication in referred journal.
- Participation in seminar / conference / workshop / training.
Salary: Rs.15,600 – 39,100 + AGP Rs.6,000/-
Position 3
Job Title: Associate Professor (Life Science & BioTech)
No of Posts: One
Eligibility:
- Good academic record with a Ph. D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.
- A Master’s degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale whenever grading system in followed).
- At least a second class “Three year” Bachelors degree with honours / Major in the relevant / allied subjects.
- A minimum of 8 (eight) years experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or reputed research institution / industry with a number of good quality publications in reputed journals and / or publication of books.
- Additional Experiences:
- Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and use of modern technology in teaching learning process.
- Guidance of Ph. D. student / Research projects.
Salary: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP Rs. 10,000
Position 4
Job Title: Assistant Professor (Life Science & BioTech)
No of Posts: Two posts
Eligibility:
- Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed as the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject.
- At least a second class ‘Three Year’ Bachelor’s Degree with Honours / Major in the relevant / allied subject.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET / SLET.
- However, the candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the Minimum Eligibility Condition of NET / SLET / SET.
Desirable:
- For One Post : Structural Biology / Biophysical Chemistry.
- For One Post : Plant Biotechnology / Animal Biotechnology.
