IAR invites Applications for the posts of Assistant Professors/Lecturers
Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar was established as the Centre of Excellence for Research by The Puri Foundation for Education in India. In 2003, Hon. Shri Narendra Modi, laid the foundation stone of the Institute and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the then President of India inaugurated in 2006. The Institute was recognized as a private University by the Gujarat Government in 2011. The University’s Vision is not only education and research but also to create leaders and entrepreneurs. University and Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar offers PhD, Post graduate and Undergraduate programmes.
The University is currently looking for qualified and experienced academic/researcher to fill the following positions in the ranks of Assistant Professors/Lecturers in:
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Environmental Science
- Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry)
Job Description:
- Candidate is expected to carry out Research
- Guide PhD Scholars over time
- Proficient in delivering quality lectures and undertaking practical sessions in their subjects to Post graduate and Undergraduate students
- Assisting in University Management related work.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Preference will be given to candidates who have PhD from recognized Universities.
- In some cases, candidates with Master’s degree with at least 5+ Years of teaching/research experience may also be considered.
- Candidates should be passionate about teaching, developing students as good citizens and serving as role models to students.
- Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: As per qualification
