- Project Title: Targeting Fibronectin 1 (FN1) for cognitive dysfunction associated with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE)

- Salary: ₹42,000 per month + HRA (as applicable as per DST norms)
- Tenure: Initially one year and extendable based on satisfactory performance till completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the DST-funded research project focusing on Fibronectin 1 (FN1) and cognitive dysfunction associated with temporal lobe epilepsy.
- Assist in research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
- Perform laboratory experiments and contribute to project objectives.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and scientific documentation.
Qualifications
Essential Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or equivalent with four years of experience in R&D in academic or industrial institutions.
- OR
- PhD in the relevant discipline.
Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Rodent models
- Behavioral neuroscience
- Molecular biology
- Immunohistochemistry
- Microscopy
- Cell culture
- EEG/Electrophysiology
- Epilepsy research
- Scientific writing
