  • Project Title: Targeting Fibronectin 1 (FN1) for cognitive dysfunction associated with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE)

  • Position: Senior Project Associate-I

  • Salary: ₹42,000 per month + HRA (as applicable as per DST norms)
  • Tenure: Initially one year and extendable based on satisfactory performance till completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the DST-funded research project focusing on Fibronectin 1 (FN1) and cognitive dysfunction associated with temporal lobe epilepsy.
  • Assist in research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
  • Perform laboratory experiments and contribute to project objectives.
  • Participate in data collection, analysis, and scientific documentation.

Qualifications

Essential Qualification

  • Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or equivalent with four years of experience in R&D in academic or industrial institutions.
  • OR
  • PhD in the relevant discipline.

Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:

  • Rodent models
  • Behavioral neuroscience
  • Molecular biology
  • Immunohistochemistry
  • Microscopy
  • Cell culture
  • EEG/Electrophysiology
  • Epilepsy research
  • Scientific writing
  • Data analysis
