About the Role
Beiersdorf India Service Private Limited is hiring a Researcher – Formula Development to contribute to the development of innovative and improved products within the Body Even Tone category. The role involves hands-on formulation development, project execution, and delivering high-quality R&D outcomes within defined timelines under moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Insight Management
- Support project execution by providing timely updates, experimental results, and documentation.
- Participate in formulation development and laboratory activities.
- Execute assigned tasks within low-complexity innovation and renovation projects under guidance.
- Plan and manage activities related to supply chain support and product roll-outs while prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
Formulation Development & Technology Support
- Develop, optimize, and evaluate body care formulations, including lotions and creams, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance.
- Support value management and supply chain projects, including cost optimization and troubleshooting.
- Build knowledge of category trends, competitor products, consumer insights, and ingredient technologies.
- Assist in patent-related documentation by generating technical data and supporting documentation.
R&D Workflow Execution
- Manage routine R&D activities, including formulation databases, stability studies, microbiological assessments, safety assessments, and product registration support.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with R&D processes and quality standards.
Organizational Contribution
- Participate in team meetings, R&D workgroups, and site initiatives related to safety, culture, and process improvement.
- Contribute ideas to improve laboratory efficiency and simplify processes.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications: B.Tech./M.Tech. in Biotechnology & Related fields
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in formulation development.
- Experience in skincare, body care, deodorants, or personal care products is preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in formulation development.
- Knowledge of stability testing.
- Familiarity with laboratory practices.
Industry Knowledge
- Exposure to the FMCG or personal care industry.
- Experience in skincare or body care categories is preferred.
Communication Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
Analytical & Presentation Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
