Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Management
- Oversee team performance and ensure timely, high-quality project deliverables.
- Monitor project documentation and correspondence.
- Participate as a senior project team member when required.
- Prepare study status reports for sponsors, study teams, and management.
- Support project timelines, budgets, and performance through metrics and action plans.
- Manage resource allocation, staff assignments, quality control, and delivery efficiency.
- Develop and monitor project resourcing plans.
- Serve as a liaison between sponsors, project teams, and management.
Performance Management & Staff Development
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to direct reports.
- Ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team members.
- Support employee training, career development, and task allocation.
- Improve staff efficiency and performance through regular feedback.
- Participate in performance evaluations and compensation review processes.
Client Management & Business Development
- Support business development initiatives.
- Participate in project bids and client presentations.
- Coordinate department-related client activities.
- Implement improvements based on client feedback.
General Operations
- Support organisational and departmental process improvements.
- Maintain productivity, billability, and staff retention.
- Complete administrative responsibilities on time.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, Parexel SOPs, and sponsor SOPs.
- Participate in departmental and organisational leadership activities.
- Follow corporate policies and escalate issues when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or another health-related discipline preferred.
- An equivalent nursing qualification or relevant clinical experience will also be considered.
Experience
- Significant experience in clinical monitoring, data management, or related clinical research roles.
- Strong understanding of the clinical trials environment.
- Experience managing teams and delivering clinical projects is preferred.
Skills Needed
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Proven ability to mentor, manage, and motivate team members.
- Excellent project management and resource planning skills.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Knowledge of ICH Guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a clinical research environment.
- Proficiency in the local language and written English.
- Oral English proficiency is preferred.
