The National Brain Research Center (NBRC) invites applications for the post of Project Associate-I under a DBT-funded project titled:

“Investigating the role of long non-coding RNAs in inhibitory synapse dysfunction and motor deficit in autism: Identification of new RNA-based therapeutic targets for autism.”

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Essential Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Natural Sciences / MVSc from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.

Desirable Qualification

  • Experience in animal handling and genotyping.
  • Experience in primary neuronal culture.
  • Experience in immunocytochemistry.
  • Experience in microscopy.

For Candidates Not Falling Under the Above Category

₹25,000/- + HRA per month

No other allowances are applicable.

Tenure

  • Initial tenure will be one year.
  • Renewable for two additional years based on satisfactory performance review.
