Job Purpose
The Executive will act as a Lab Assistant, serving scientists in their day-to-day activities and ensuring they perform their R&D activities seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory maintenance activities.
- Ensure common laboratory facilities are in working condition and ready for use.
- Maintain the availability of common solvents required for R&D.
- Work closely with scientists to fulfil laboratory requirements.
- Coordinate raw material movement to S14 and BCDL.
- Coordinate with casual staff for smooth raw material movement during scale-up activities.
- Coordinate with the E&M team for installation of new equipment and make it available for R&D use.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and EHS practices.
- Procure solvents for BCDL scale-up while maintaining prescribed EHS safety levels.
- Maintain optimum solvent levels for laboratory usage.
- Regularly clean up expired solvents while adhering to safety requirements.
- Maintain the day store and cold room safely.
- Follow BBRC safety guidelines for storage.
- Identify expired chemicals and send them for incineration regularly.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Life Sciences.
Experience
- Fresh graduates with the required educational qualification may apply.
- Experience in laboratory operations and coordination will be an added advantage.
Skills Needed

- Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
