Position Overview
The Scientist I, Molecular Biology will be a member of the Molecular Biology Core Facility within the Antibody Development Team. The role focuses on advancing innovative molecular biology techniques to support high-throughput recombinant antibody platforms and contribute to antibody development and testing programs.
Key Responsibilities
Molecular Biology & Antibody Development
- Work in a fast-paced environment focused on antibody development and testing.
- Execute molecular biology techniques including:
- PCR
- Primer design
- Vector design
- DNA extraction and analysis
- RNA extraction and analysis
- High-throughput cloning
Experimental Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute experiments meticulously to achieve program goals.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and project schedules.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail during experimentation.
Documentation & Data Management
- Record experimental results in laboratory notebooks and data sheets in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized experimental records.
Scientific Research & Knowledge Building
- Regularly review scientific literature.
- Stay updated on developments in antibody development and molecular biology.
- Contribute to scientific discussions and innovation within the team.
Data Analysis & Communication
- Compile, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
- Present findings through written reports and oral presentations.

Candidate Requirements
Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess either:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in a Life Sciences discipline with 0–4 years of relevant experience, or
- Ph.D. in a Life Sciences field (submitted within the last one year)
