Job Description
The Junior Research Fellow will work on a Ministry of Mines funded project focused on the recovery of critical rare earth elements from mine/ore waste using sustainable and greener approaches.
The project specifically deals with the recovery of Gallium from Bayer Liquor through bioprocessing methods.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Work on the synthesis of biomolecules through bioprocessing
- Use synthesized biomolecules for the recovery of Gallium from Bayer Liquor
- Characterize recovered elements using high-end equipment
- Participate in research activities related to metal recovery and biotechnological applications
Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- M.Tech. in:
- Biotechnology
- Industrial Biotechnology
- Environmental Biotechnology
- OR
- M.Sc. in:
- Biotechnology
- Microbiology
