Duration
- Initially for 1 year
- Extendable based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds
- Maximum project duration: 2 years
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research aligned with the project objectives, including:
- Executing project activities within defined timelines
- Preparing detailed progress reports for the Principal Investigator (PI) and DBT
- Managing procurement and tracking of chemicals and laboratory consumables
- Traveling to collaborating institutes whenever required
- Preparing scientific manuscripts and presentations
- Collaborating closely with internal and external research teams and providing technical support as needed
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- Ph.D. in:
- Natural Sciences
- Agricultural Sciences
- Biotechnology
- Or equivalent disciplines from a recognized university
Preferred Experience & Skills
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Handling cyanobacterial strains and high-density cultures
- Cyanobacterial proteomics
- Molecular biology techniques
- Omics-based analyses
Salary
Salary and HRA will be provided as per DBT norms.
Compensation will depend on qualifications and relevant experience.
