Role Overview
The Production/Quality Executive will be responsible for managing third-party manufacturing operations, quality assurance, logistics coordination, planning, and R&D activities for products such as idli–dosa batter and parota at a new factory setup. The role requires close collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure third-party vendors adhere to company-defined quality specifications
- Coordinate New Product Development (NPD) trials through to commercial launch
- Conduct regular vendor audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities
- Maintain and update legal, statutory, and food safety documentation from vendors
- Handle internal and customer complaints and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Prepare daily MIS reports and monthly review reports for stakeholders
- Verify vendor compliance with Quality SOPs through process audits
- Train and guide vendors on critical quality parameters
- Oversee manufacturing, quality, logistics, planning, and R&D activities at the new facility
Educational Qualification
B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Food Technology / Engg / Science
Experience
Minimum 1–4 years of experience in the food industry (non-dairy preferred)
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of food quality standards and manufacturing processes
- Experience in vendor management and third-party manufacturing
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
- Ability to manage cross-functional coordination and problem-solving
