Qualifications
Essential Qualification
Master’s Degree in Food Science & Technology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification
Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology/Biochemistry.
Qualified in national-level eligibility examinations, such as:
- CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS)
- GATE
- DBT-BET
- ICMR-JRF
- Equivalent examinations
- Prior hands-on experience in product development is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out the R&D work as assigned under the project titled: “Preclinical Assessment of Hepatoprotective Food Formulations for Space Nutrition Interventions”.
Experience Required
Candidates with prior experience in product development and research activities related to Food Science, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry will be preferred.

Important Eligibility Note
As per CSIR guidelines, engagement of Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project duration. The total engagement period as Project Staff across all CSIR laboratories/institutes should not exceed 6 years. Candidates who have already completed 6 years in any CSIR Lab/Institute are not eligible to apply.
