Key Responsibilities
- Perform method transfers, validations, and method verifications using complex analytical techniques.
- Interpret and evaluate analytical data for accuracy, precision, trends, and potential cGMP impact while recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure all documentation and quality records comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures, analytical methods, and related quality documents.
- Conduct analyses on finished products, raw materials, and components including data entry, review, and approval in computerized systems.
- Contribute to complex projects and manage timelines effectively within the Quality Control team.
- Conduct analytical method validation according to ICH Q2 (R1/R2), USP, and EP standards.
- Perform GAP assessments against USP, EP, BP, and JP requirements for New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Execute and document analytical method verification and method transfer activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Microbiology with 4–5 years of analytical testing experience.
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Microbiology with 2–3 years of analytical testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and laboratory compliance standards.
- Ability to understand compendial methods, SOPs, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Experience Required
- Experience in analytical testing within pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratories.
- Hands-on expertise in method validation, method transfer, and analytical method verification.
- Experience working with analytical instruments and computerized Quality Control systems.
- Experience with HPLC and GC analytical techniques is preferred.
- Exposure to continuous improvement projects and lean manufacturing principles is an added advantage.
Skills Needed
- Knowledge of analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, and pH meters.
- Strong technical skills in method validation and testing.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
