  • Position Title: Senior Project Associate
  • Location: Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, P.O. Box No. 10531, New Delhi-110067
  • Project Title: Defining the role of splice-variants of HSFB2a and a long noncoding RNA in yield and thermotolerance in tomato
  • PI: Dr. Saloni Mathur, Scientist at BRIC-NIPGR
  • Age: The upper age limit for the post is 40 years.

Qualifications Required

  • Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with four years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations, and scientific activities and services OR 
  • Doctoral degree in Science / Engineering / Technology from a recognized university or equivalent and fulfilling the guidelines of DST-OM number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020.
  • Prior hands-on work experience in molecular biology techniques, CRISPR, transformation in crop plants, handling NGS data is desirable.

Emoluments

₹ 42,000/- plus 27% HRA per month as sanctioned in the project.
