Job Details:
- Job Title: Senior Project Associate

- Nature of Appointment: Purely temporary and project-based
- Emoluments: ₹42,000/- per month + 27% HRA (Salary will be provided as per DBT/DST norms and project sanction guidelines.)
- Project Title: Defining the role of splice-variants of HSFB2a and a long noncoding RNA in yield and thermotolerance in tomato
- Age Limit: Maximum age: 40 years (Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.)
Walk-In Interview Notification
BRIC-NIPGR invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the temporary position of Senior Project Associate under a DBT-funded research project supervised by Dr. Saloni Mathur, Scientist, BRIC-NIPGR.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Natural Sciences / Agricultural Sciences / MVSc
- OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Medicine with four years of research and development experience in academic, industrial, or scientific organizations
- OR
- Doctoral degree in Science / Engineering / Technology from a recognized university
Candidates should also fulfill DST guidelines as per DST-OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020.
Desirable Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in:
- Molecular biology techniques
- CRISPR technology
- Plant transformation
- Handling NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) data
Project Duration
- Appointment valid up to April 2, 2027
- Extension or curtailment will depend on project requirements and candidate performance
