Fellowship & Duration
- ₹37,000/- + HRA per month for the first 2 years
- ₹42,000/- + HRA per month for the 3rd year
The appointment will be governed by ANRF funding guidelines and University of Allahabad service conditions. Performance of the selected candidate will be reviewed after one year and continuation will depend on satisfactory performance.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences
- First Class in both undergraduate and postgraduate examinations
Candidates qualified in national-level examinations such as:
- CSIR-UGC NET JRF
- GATE
- Other equivalent national-level examinations will be preferred.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Microbiology
- Plant Pathology
- Molecular Biology
- Bioinformatics
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 28 years (as on April 1, 2026)
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidates as per the Government of India rules
