Key Responsibilities
- Carry out research work of the project
- Keep a track of contingencies/consumables required for the work
- Assist the PI in preparation of various reports related to the research work
- Carryout any other departmental work related to the project as directed by PI
Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: MSc in Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, B.Tech in Biotechnology or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in plant proteins, genomic and proteomic data analysis with machine learning.
Emoluments
Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month (HRA will be provided as per the rule of Host Institution)

Terms and Conditions
- Age limit: Maximum age is 28 years for Junior Research Fellow (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST, women, OBC and physically handicapped candidates) with a minimum age of 18 years as on the date of the interview.
- The post is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for one year or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
- The interview for eligible candidates will be held online, the details of which will be communicated by email.
- All candidates must adhere to the reporting time for the online interview communicated to them.
- Candidates must compulsorily fill in the application form, scan certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, and degree certificate in original or provisional form along with a recent photograph.
- No TA/DA/any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
- Only candidates meeting essential qualifications will be interviewed.
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form leads to disqualification or termination.
- If any candidate’s relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, it must be declared.
- All other candidates must submit the scan declaration duly signed.
- In case of disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the New Delhi court only.
