Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the project titled: Bioelectronic material for Precise Neuromodulation in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation.
  • Work under the guidance of Dr. Rehan Khan, Scientist-E (PI at INST, Mohali).

Qualifications

Essential: PhD in Biomedical Sciences/ Chemical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Health Sciences/ Nanotechnology/Nanoscience. Candidates with suitable educational background are likely to fit into Biomedical Sciences Jobs at INST.

Experience

For Position-1:

  • Working experience along with publications with the Spinal Cord Injury model and the Peripheral Nerve Injury model is compulsory.
  • Publications as a first author in the field of Spinal Cord Injury model and Peripheral Nerve Injury model.
  • Working experience in Cell culture, Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, ELISA, Western Blotting, Flow Cytometry.

For Position-2:

  • Working experience in developing a skin-patch and microfluidic device or a biosensor for disease biomarker detection, or working experience in developing a small animal model of Sepsis.
  • Working experience in Cell culture, Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, ELISA, Western Blotting, Flow Cytometry.

Skills Needed

  • Expertise in Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, ELISA, Western Blotting, and Flow Cytometry, which is highly sought-after for many biomedical sciences jobs in research.
  • Experience in Cell culture techniques.
  • Research publication experience (preferred for Position-1).
  • Knowledge in biosensors, microfluidics, or animal models (based on position).

Salary & Benefits

Fellowship: Rs. 67,000/- pm + HRA @ 10%. INST offers competitive compensation for Biomedical Sciences Jobs and similar scientist roles.

General Terms and Conditions
