About the Team: Protein Biology
The Protein Biology team focuses on large-scale functional validation of antibodies, ensuring high standards of reagent quality and specificity. The team’s work includes data mining, Western blotting, immunofluorescence imaging, immunohistochemistry, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), and gene-silencing techniques. The goal is to deliver high-quality product validation and generate robust data to support research applications.
Role Overview
The Scientist I – Protein Biology contributes to antibody validation workflows by designing and executing experiments to ensure reproducibility and scientific accuracy. The role requires strong expertise in protein biology and the ability to generate high-quality datasets that support product differentiation. The candidate is expected to demonstrate scientific rigor, effective communication, and collaboration within a research-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of protein biology to validate and characterize antibodies
- Design and execute experiments aligned with program goals
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and data documentation
- Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on advancements in antibody validation
- Compile, analyze, and present data in written and oral formats
- Participate actively in team discussions and scientific meetings
- Ensure adherence to timelines and maintain high attention to detail
Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree with 2–5 years of experience OR
- PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of cell and molecular biology workflows
- Experience in protein assay design and development
- Hands-on experience with protein-protein interaction techniques (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation)
- Proficiency in immunoassays such as:
- Western Blotting
- Immunofluorescence
- Immunohistochemistry
- Flow Cytometry
- ELISA
- Ability to communicate research findings effectively and troubleshoot scientific challenges
- Basic knowledge of computational biology tools, databases, and programming concepts.
