About the Role
The Scientific & Medical Writer is responsible for curating, validating, and summarizing pharmaceutical and clinical research data for platforms such as AdisInsight and AskAdisAI. The role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality drug intelligence that supports strategic decision-making within the global pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate scientific content for AdisInsight and AskAdisAI platforms
- Consolidate data from multiple sources including clinical trial registries, medical journals, and media releases
- Interpret and apply knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical, and clinical trial terminology
- Extract and input key trial data such as study status, phase, design, endpoints, treatments, and outcomes
- Develop accurate, concise summaries of clinical and research updates
- Maintain timelines of key drug development milestones
- Support peer team members through query resolution
- Contribute to additional tasks assigned by team leads or managers
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in scientific writing, with a strong understanding of drug development and clinical research processes.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of total experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or clinical research organizations
Required Skills
- Strong scientific and English writing skills
- In-depth understanding of drug development and clinical research
- Literature review and data evaluation expertise
