Job Description:
- Preparing a sample arrangement sheet (SAS) for high-throughput Sanger sequencing PCR followed by sequencing cleanup.
- Sanger sequencing results troubleshooting.
- General upkeep and day-to-day maintenance of the Sanger Sequencing platform.
- Human cell line authentication and Genotyping using SSR/STR and data analysis.
- Updating the existing lab SOPs to increase the day-to-day operational efficiency of the Sanger Sequencing Facility.
- Maintaining the records of QC, stock inventory, and availability of primers.
- Training the researchers of BLiSc and outside on a need-by-need basis.
- Other selected activities required from time to time. Moreover, these tasks are typical for Project Associate Jobs in life science labs.
