Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize, evaluate, and execute genomics/transcriptomics assays, including genotyping and gene expression profiling (GEP).
- Work with FFPE, blood, and other biological samples for high-throughput genomics workflows.
- Develop and qualify DNA and RNA-based assays for translational and clinical research programs.
- Perform NGS, qPCR, and ddPCR assay development, validation, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and sample management.
- Validate NGS protocols using Automated Liquid Handlers for high-throughput workflows.
- Maintain accurate experiment records using ELN and LIMS as per GCP guidelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality results, documentation, and reporting (SoPs).
Qualifications:
M.Sc. / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences.
Experience:
Strong wet lab experience in NGS techniques and high-throughput genomics assays.
Experience handling FFPE, blood, and other biological samples.
Hands-on experience in RNA-Seq, WES, WGS, and qPCR-based assays.
Familiarity with basic bioinformatics tools for genomics workflows.
Experience with automated liquid handling systems is an advantage.
Skills Needed:
- Expertise in genomics platforms: NGS, qPCR, ddPCR, PCR.
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, Bioanalyzer, Qubit, Nanodrop).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic research environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to generate accurate, reproducible data.
- Capability to manage multiple projects independently.
