Role Overview
The Nutrition Officer is responsible for promoting infant nutrition products through scientific engagement with doctors and healthcare professionals (HCPs). The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks while driving product awareness, recommendation, and market presence within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct medical detailing of infant nutrition products to doctors and healthcare professionals
- Ensure product recommendations align with the Indian Code & Infant Milk Substitute (IMS) Code
- Execute high-quality scientific engagements such as detailing sessions and symposiums in line with company guidelines
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure product visibility and availability in the market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ethical standards, communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a field-based role.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or related fields, including:
- Biology, Zoology, Microbiology, Botany
- Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
- Nursing, Home Science, Nutrition & Dietetics
- B.Pharm
Experience
- 1 to 7 years of experience in field sales within the Nutrition or Pharmaceutical industry
