Young Professional I

  • No. of posts: 01 (One)
  • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 30,000 PM (Fixed)
  • Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or related discipline.
  • Desirable Qualification: Masters in Plant Breeding or Genetics/Biotechnology/ Physiology with experience in field crop phenotyping, data recording and knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint etc.
  • Age Limit: 21-45 years (With relaxation as per GOI/ICAR rules)
  • Duration: One year (Can be extended further for one year based on satisfactory service)

Young Professional II

  • No. of posts: 01 (One)
  • Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000 PM (Fixed)
  • Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture/Genetics/Plant breeding/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life sciences or Professional Graduate degree holder of 4 years duration in Agricultural Sciences/biotechnology/other relevant fields of life sciences.
  • Desirable Qualification: Experience in the area of phenotyping for abiotic stresses, development of crosses, data analysis, basic molecular biology like DNA extraction, PCR etc. as proven by published papers in relevant areas.
  • Age Limit: 21-45 years (With relaxation as per GOI/ICAR rules)
  • Duration: One year (Can be extended further for one year based on satisfactory service)
