Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree in Biology or allied subjects.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM).
- Technical knowledge of electron optics, vacuum systems, cryo-systems, and analytical attachments (EDS, STEM, Diffraction imaging, EELS) is required.
- Experience with JEOL JEM-2200FS (200 keV) HRTEM instrument will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily operation of JEOL JEM-2200FS HRTEM for users.
- Ensure safe handling of samples and data collection.
- Conduct maintenance and coordinate with engineers for repairs.
- Assist users in experimental setup and data analysis.
- Maintain detailed usage and maintenance records.
Tenure:
Initially one year, extendable based on performance and funding.
Emoluments:
₹32,000 per month.
