Job Overview:
The Scientist I will support antibody development projects, validate cell culture workflows, and deliver high-quality biological samples. The role requires expertise in mammalian cell culture, protein expression, data integrity, and experimental execution.
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or Life Sciences
- 0–3 years research/industry experience
- Knowledge of cell biology, protein biology, molecular biology
Key Responsibilities:
- Aseptic expansion and maintenance of mammalian cancer cell lines
- Handling Expi293/ExpiCHO lines and performing transfections
- Daily monitoring of cell cultures with accurate record-keeping
- Cryopreservation of primary and immortalized cell lines
- Planning experiments and ensuring data integrity
- Using electronic notebooks for documentation
- Supporting antibody development pipelines
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of cell biology and molecular techniques
- Experience with suspension cell lines
- Statistical knowledge (Prism software preferred)
- Scientific writing skills
- GLP/GMP knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent teamwork and communication
