Job Title: Drug Substance Manufacturing – Trainee / Executive

Job Description
Virchow Biotech is seeking motivated and passionate candidates to join our Drug Substance Manufacturing team. The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting large-scale production of biologics and active drug substances in a cGMP environment. This role involves hands-on work in fermentation, purification, media preparation, and maintaining aseptic techniques while ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Execute upstream and downstream manufacturing activities for biologics production.

Prepare and sterilize media, buffers, and process solutions.

Operate and monitor bioreactors, centrifuges, and filtration systems.

Maintain production records and ensure documentation as per cGMP standards.

Coordinate with QA, QC, and process development teams for smooth manufacturing operations.

Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene practices in the production area.

Support troubleshooting and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualification
-
M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related fields).

Freshers and candidates with 1–2 years of experience in biopharma/biotech manufacturing can apply.
Requirements

Candidates should be from Hyderabad or nearby locations.

Willingness to work in shift operations and maintain discipline in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Good understanding of aseptic techniques and basic bioprocess operations.

Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
Compensation

For Freshers: ₹2.2 LPA – ₹2.4 LPA

For Experienced Candidates: Salary will be based on previous experience and performance in the interview.
Additional Details

Transportation facility will be provided.

Bond Period: 2 years.

Probation & Training: 1-month training period; candidates will be confirmed as permanent employees based on performance.
