The ideal candidate will be a CPC-certified professional with 2–3 years of hands-on coding experience, committed to ensuring accurate, compliant, and high-quality coding across various medical records. Key Responsibilities:
• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services based on medical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, payer policies, and audit standards.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in all coded data and documentation.
• Collaborate with the internal audit and quality teams to identify, analyze, and resolve coding discrepancies.
• Keep abreast of coding updates, industry changes, and payer requirements.
• Provide feedback to providers and staff to improve documentation quality and coding efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance coding workflows and compliance.
Requirements:
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification from AAPC — mandatory.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in medical coding.
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
