Job Summary
We are looking for fresh M.Sc. Microbiology graduates (Batch of 2025) to join as Trainee QC Microbiologists in our Quality Control Microbiology Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to start their career in the pharmaceutical/vaccine industry by gaining hands-on training in microbiological testing, sterility monitoring, and compliance practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in routine microbiological testing including sterility tests and microbial count assays.
- Support in preparation of media, reagents, and solutions following SOPs.
- Participate in environmental monitoring and water testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of QC testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Handle vaccine samples with care, ensuring proper storage and testing protocols.
- Learn and assist in calibration and operation of QC equipment (autoclaves, incubators, biosafety cabinets, etc.).
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain aseptic working conditions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: M.Sc. in Microbiology (Fresh graduates – Batch of 2025 only).
- Experience: Freshers (0 years).
- Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month.
- Location: Gummidipoondi (SIPCOT), Chennai.
Required Skills:
- Strong academic foundation in microbiology concepts.
- Keen interest in working in a QC microbiology laboratory.
- Basic knowledge of microbiological techniques and aseptic handling.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
Interview Process
- Round 1: Virtual / Online Interview.
- Round 2: Walk-in at Factory (Gummidipoondi) or Head Office (Chennai).
