CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, is a premier national laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). The institute is currently seeking applications for a Project Associate-I (PAT-I) to work on the project titled “Transglycosylating α-glucosidase (tAG) for lowering in-vitro digestibility in food products” (MMP025201). This project is hosted in the Department of Microbiology & Fermentation Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university

Desirable Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Microbiology, Enzyme Biochemistry, Bioreactor, and Biotechnology

Project Duration:

  • Initial appointment for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years or until project end (March 2026)
