Job Title: Clinical Operations Manager
Location: India – Bengaluru
Job Purpose
The Manager is responsible for overseeing a team or group to ensure successful performance and delivery of project deliverables with high quality and within the set timelines. The role involves resourcing client projects with skilled professionals, retaining and developing talent, and providing clinical consultation as required.
Project Delivery Management and Oversight
- Monitor performance and ensure accurate project documentation
- Lead project teams, generate study reports, and attend meetings
- Provide consultation and develop action plans to keep projects on track
Performance Management, Staff Development and Talent Management
- Support staff in fulfilling duties and meeting productivity metrics
- Recruit, retain, and develop a highly skilled team
- Conduct training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
Client Management and Business Development
- Support business leads generation and client networking
- Contribute to project bids and client presentations
- Manage client relationships and coordinate activities
General Operations and Functional/Business Unit Management
- Implement system/standards improvement activities
- Maintain productivity levels and turnover
- Create a positive work environment and ensure compliance with standards
General Administration, Manage Personal Competencies and Role Modeling
- Demonstrate leadership and adherence to corporate policies
- Act as a role model for the team and maintain a results-oriented approach
Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate direct reports
Language Skills
Competent in local language and written English, oral English competency preferred
Knowledge and Experience
Strong understanding of clinical trials environment with substantial monitoring/data management experience
Education
Degree in biological science, pharmacy, or similar health-related discipline preferred
