The Official Notification for CSIR NET Dec 2024 Exam is Finally Here. NTA has announced that the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2024, which determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and Ph.D. admissions, is to be held in February 2025. Subject: Extension of Last Date for Submission of Online Application Form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to
extend the last date of submission of online application form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024.
Therefore, in continuation to the Public Notice dated the 09.12.2024 regarding submission of online application form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission
of online application form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply. The schedule is as follows:| Events | Earlier Date | Extended Date |

CSIR NET Dec 2024 Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2024, a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for:
- Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor,
- Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. and
- Admission to Ph.D. only
The examination will be held through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
