Join us as an Industry Technology Specialist (ITS) – Biofuel and Distilling
Welcome to:
- Technical Service, Planetary Health Bio-Solution, Novonesis South Asia
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Playing a key role in technical service activities for Distilling, Biofuel, and Bioenergy
- Supporting and developing technologies within the ethanol industry
- Leading the development and execution of complex trials and establishing cross-functional networks
- Applying analytical and people management skills to turn innovative ideas into valuable business outcomes
To succeed, you must hold:
- A Bachelor’s (BE/B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.Tech/MSc) in chemical engineering, biotechnology, food technology, biochemistry, microbiology, bio-processing, or chemical refining
- A minimum of 5-10 years’ professional experience in a related field
- Strong process expertise within a distilling/ethanol plant, including grain milling, liquefaction, continuous saccharification and fermentation, distillation, and DDGS processes
- Proven troubleshooting skills for process-related challenges
- A willingness to travel extensively across India to provide technical support to ethanol-producing plants
- Experience in developing and executing experimental plans for plant trials and communicating results for business growth
- An innovative and proactive approach with a readiness to take on responsibilities
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and data management using MS Excel or similar data tools
