Senior Research Fellow – 1 position
A Senior Research Fellow position is available in the Translational Health Group, ICGEB-New Delhi, for a DBT-funded project. The project is part of a DBT consortium project focusing on deciphering key metabolic and signalling networks utilized by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the causative organism of the deadly disease tuberculosis. The title of the project is ‘National Network Project of NII-India’.
Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. or B.Tech. in Life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry, with two years of research experience, or M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics. Capability of working in a BSL3 facility.
Desirable Qualifications: Hands-on experience handling Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains/clinical isolates in a BSL3 environment, mammalian cell culture, and bioinformatics experience in handling whole genome sequencing data.
