We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computational Biologist to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our scientific understanding through the application of cutting-edge computational methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computational pipelines for the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, and structural prediction using alphafold, autodock.
- Collaborate with wet-lab biologists to design and execute experiments
- Perform data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis to uncover novel biological insights
- Contribute to the development of computational tools and algorithms
- Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
Requirements:
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- MSc in Computational Biology with 4 years work experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or R
- Strong background in machine learning, and data mining techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
