Sr. Executive – Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

• key quality and food safety objectives, goals, strategies, and measures
• quality and technical support to product development teams in the design, development, and implementation by providing market feedback from stores.
• and implement quality and product safety program(s) such as HACCP, Quality Assurance Plan, (etc) at Stores, suppliers, and/or warehouse to secure YUM/SFIL requirements
• root cause and corrective action within SFIL and at supplier/or Warehouse/or Logistic partner.
• SFIL/YUM quality and food safety standards are fully implemented at SFIL suppliers.
• and manage both internal and third-party audits of DC and suppliers, ensuring compliance to food safety standards, good manufacturing practices, and specification compliance
• with suppliers to implement corrective actions to reverse negative trends in manufacturing related consumer complaints
• root cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
• that all materials intended for use in SFIL finished goods meet all applicable food safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• with suppliers/DC/Stores to implement corrective actions as necessary
• analyse quality data and identify potential problem areas to prevent issues
• feedback to Operations/FSQA Manager regarding suppliers to deliver raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods that comply with specifications/design at optimal costs and minimal risk to the business
• consumer complaint investigations
• as required to perform all job requirements like audits and verification etc.
• with, and develop, Quality Assurance leadership action plans and recommendations on major quality and safety concern.
• training to the Operation/Warehousing/SCM Team on Training agendas like Basics of quality assurance, Hazmat, Cleaning and Sanitation, Foreign matter control, Temp. report analysis, etc.
• with cross functional teams to identify and resolve Quality system Problems and to run a smooth processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2 to 3 years of manufacturing quality assurance experience in a lead role, such as a QA Executive/Officer
• B.Tech or M. Tech degree in Food Science/Food Safety/Food Tech/Dairy Tech or an equivalent technical field
• FSSC 22000 or BRC system exposure
• Experience working in a quality function in supplier quality assurance in Food industry.
• Ability to represent the company needs when dealing with vendors, Testing Labs, regulatory agencies, and other departments within the corporation
• Working knowledge of plant layout and manufacturing operations to effectively troubleshoot and correct production related problems, and recognize constraints and limitations affecting new product design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety Management, Auditing, and Food Microbiology
• Strong knowledge of Government Regulations FSSAI, BIS etc.
• Quality Systems Including GMP’s, Statistical Process Control
